On October 24, Ralph Linde, head of HFU Volkswagen College on behalf of Volkswagen Group, together with his delegation attended the 2023 Opening Ceremony of HFU Volkswagen College. Wu Chunmei, HFU president extended her warm welcome to the delegation at the meeting. The two sides reached a series of consensus on strengthening bilateral cooperation and the construction of HFU Volkswagen College.

At the ceremony, the 2022 innovation and entrepreneurship team of  Volkswagen College presented their project fruits of the past year and shared in English their ideas on “new energy vehicles”.

Mr. Linde highly commended the talent training of HFU Volkswagen College, and gave high praise and encouragement to the students’ creativity. Ms. Lou Yi, Senior Director of Corporate Culture and Employee Communication Department of Volkswagen China, and Ms. Dai Zhiling, Human Resources Director of Volkswagen Anhui Ability Development Center, delivered speeches respectively. Ms. Lou Yi said, Volkswagen Group will provide a good employment platform and development opportunities for students of HFU Volkswagen College. She encouraged students to study hard to become talents in China’s new-energy and intelligent connected vehicle industry.

After the opening ceremony, Mr. Linde and his delegation visited the achievements exhibition of Sino-German education cooperation and the internship training and research and development center of HFU Volkswagen College.
